Night Vision Goggles First Test!

I had ordered this set of night vision goggles from amazon.com

and they worked great! I could see all around my room in the dark. Time to test it out on the game!

Here’s what the first prototype looks like under the night vision goggles.

Uh oh! I can see the character piece clearly but its rather hard to see the difference between the walls and the ground! Infrared light does not carry the colors of the visible light spectrum so the night vision goggles cannot display a full color image of things in the dark. Rather most things turn up black and white. A green tint is added since human eyes are more sensitive to different shades of green.

So I guess I’ll have to make a white bottom maze and black walls.
