I’ve always enjoyed taking things apart and building things. This helped me choose engineering as a field of study. From there I went on to work at Makerbot Industries where I was introduced to the world of 3D printing. I couldn’t be happier. Here was a machine that could build anything as long as it was in plastic. Today there’s even machines that will build things in metal, ceramics and even living cells.
I made to choice to jump into board games because I had an idea for a board game (Maze of Monsters) I just had to make and share with the world. Part of that journey is building a board game company. One of the great joys of creation is seeing how everything works together to push each thing to greater heights it couldn’t reach alone. The board game I have in mind would not be able to go as far as I wanted without the support of a company to build, represent, improve and ship it. And the company wouldn’t be as strong without a great product behind it. And the amazing thing that I didn’t even expect was that the board game and company have brought me to places I didn’t even dream of and where I learned new things about myself and the world.
